Use of Cobra Springs' catalogue is expressley at the user's risk. Whilst every effort possible has been made to avoid specification and errors in the catalogue, Cobra Springs disclaim any responsibility for any such application, specification, or publishing errors. It is the fitters final responsibility to make every effort that the correct parts have been obtained prior to fitting onto the vehicle.

PLEASE REFER TO THE FITTING GUIDELINES IN THE CATALOGUE AND CONTACT US FOR TECHNICAL ADVICE REGARDING ANY ISSUES. W.O.F. REGULATIONS

Every effort has been made to supply coil springs that will comply with the relevant regulations for W.O.F inspections, it should however be noted that in some cases (especially using Super Low coils) it may be necessary to modify a vehicles suspension to accommodate the lowered or raised height. Issues with spring entrapment (with suspension at full droop), shock absorber/ strut unit travel (bottoming or topping out), sufficient bump stop clearance, sufficient road to body/ chassis clearance (big bore exhausts etc.), are all things to be taken into account when deciding how far to alter a vehicles ride height from original. Any major modifications to a vehicles suspension to accommodate ride height may need to be certified by a qualified Low Volume Vehicle Certifier.

SUPER LOW COILS ARE PREDOMINANTLY DESIGNED FOR DISPLAY CARS. CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN THAT ALL LEGAL REQUIREMENTS ARE MAINTAINED. IN SOME CASES CERTIFICATION MAY BE REQUIRED.

HEIGHT CLASSIFICATIONS

  • Superlow approximately 40-50mm below standard height.
  • Low approximately 25-40mm below standard height.
  • Raised approximately 20-40mm above standard height.

For vehicles fitted with LPG/ CNG tanks it is advisable to fit rear raised coil listed to sit at standard height. It should be noted that the above classifications are approximate heights only and variations may occur depending on vehicle makes & models, load bearing accessories etc.
